We only use your details to deliver your top-up and to help you. We don't sell them, and we only send you offers if you ask for them.

Who we are

Prepaid Union BV, Herenweg 15, 3602 AM Maarssen, Nederland (Chamber of Commerce 24459901), is responsible for the personal data on this website. Questions: support@prepaidunion.com.

What we use and why

  • Your email address: for the order confirmation, delivery and refund emails, and to log in if you have an account.
  • The mobile numbers you top up, with country and operator: needed to deliver the top-up.
  • Payment: you pay on the page of the payment provider. We receive the payment status and a reference (with PayPal also the email address and country of your PayPal account), never your bank or PayPal login.
  • Your account (if you create one): email address, language and a password that is stored in a form nobody can read. If you tick it, we now and then email you the operators' promotions; you can turn this off in your account settings at any time.
  • My numbers (with an account): the numbers you topped up or saved, with the names you gave them, so you can top them up again quickly. You can remove them at any time.
  • Contact form: your name, email address, order number and message, to answer your question.
  • Your IP address: to protect the shop and you against fraud and abuse.

On what basis

We need these details to carry out your order (the agreement with you), to keep our administration as the law requires, and for our legitimate interest in a safe shop without fraud.

Who receives your details

Only the parties needed for your order: our top-up partner and the mobile operator (the number and the amount), the payment provider, and the services that send our emails and host this website. Because the top-up is delivered abroad, the number and amount go to the country of the operator; that is necessary to carry out your order.

How long we keep them

Orders and payments: seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it. Your account: until you delete it in your account settings. Your orders then stay in our administration for that same period, without the account.

Cookies

We use the cookies the shop needs to work. Only with your permission do we also use Google cookies (Google Analytics and Google Ads), to see how the shop is used and to measure our ads; Google then receives information about your visit, such as the pages you view and your IP address. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

  • Session cookie: remembers your basket, your order and your login while you shop. It expires after a short time.
  • Security cookie: protects the forms against misuse.
  • Recent numbers: remembers up to five numbers you topped up on this device, so you can top them up again with one tap. Stored encrypted for one year; clear your cookies to remove it.
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads (only with your permission): statistics about the use of the shop and the results of our ads. Kept by Google for up to 14 months.
  • Your cookie choice: remembers whether you allowed Google cookies, for one year.

Your rights

You may see, correct or delete your details, take them with you, or object to their use. Mail support@prepaidunion.com; we answer within a month. You can delete your account yourself in your account settings. Not satisfied with how we handle your details? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
